There are 92 species of the Parrot family in Jurong. Here you see the Yellow-naped Amazon Parrots which are often found in South American Jungles. In general, Parrots have short and hooked bills meant  for seed eating. They have finely scaled feet. Two toes point forward and two point back. Parrots can be found in rain-forests, semi-desserts, riverbanks, cliffs and even in urbanized areas. They also have an exceptional ability to perform acrobatics and mimic human voices and sounds.

Parakeets are some of the smaller birds in the parrot family. They tend to have long tails, Cockatoos and Macaws the largest of the Parrot family.

Some of the species found in the Bird Park include the Hyacinth Macaw, Military Macaw, Blue-eyed Cockatoo, Black Palm Cockatoo, Scarlet Macaws, and Yellow-naped Amazon.
