B.Des. Programs at IIT Bombay and IIT Guwahati - You DO NOT need to be a PCM student for these

Admission is through the UCEED Entrance examination.
The courses are focused on Industrial and Product Design. The Industrial Design Center at IIT Bombay has a formidable reputation in the industry. They had a well regarded MDes (post-graduate program) even in the past. The BDes undergrad program is relatively new.

Here are some of the Project pages of first year BDes students at IITB

BTech in Computer Science and Design at IIIT Delhi
This is a top notch Computer Science school in Delhi. Their program has a good mix of foundation courses in Computer Science as well as design, and a vast variety of electives across social science, humanities and technology. Remember: elegance in aesthetics as well as product design is the primary the success of Facebook, Twitter, Uber  where technology is primarily a backbone driving and ensuring the success of that design.
Admission to this program is bifurcated: some will be selected on the basis of JEE-Mains scores and some will be selected through UCEED (provided they have Mathematics in Class 12).

SPA in Delhi, JJ School of Architecture in Mumbai, CCA Chandigarh and CEPT Ahmedabad are really famous and specialized ones.
IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur also have architecture programs. The specialized focus is perhaps missing in these programs, however, being part of a larger academic community, you also have access to a lot more courses and departments. You can do a few courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Basic Sciences etc. Plus, you will have a more diverse network.
The requirement for this is the Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE-advanced). There is also an Architecture Aptitude Test which needs to be cleared.
NITs in Calicut and Trichy are also a good option.
