Introduction to Ruby Comments - Single and Multi-Line comments

Programming With Ruby

Single Line Ruby Comments

A Single Line comment in Ruby starts with a #

for x in 1..5   # start for loop
       puts x   # display x
end             # end loop

Multi-Line Ruby Comments

A Multi-line comment in ruby is placed between =begin and =end, for example :

=begin
Now, we are going to demonstrate a loop.
We will use for ... end
=end
for x in 1..5
   puts x
end
